I’m a Stockholm-based creative director, design lead, and photographer with a love for jazz and pasta.
In 1998, my best friend and I dreamt of starting an agency (and a jazz club) in New York City. Nine years later, we cofounded Your Majesty — a design and technology firm shaping product and brand experiences for Netflix, Airbnb, Samsung, adidas, BMW, Spotify, Bentley, Absolut, and American Express.
Over 11 years, I led creative across brand, product, and campaigns — spanning creative direction, brand, product design, film, strategy, and organizational design.
Alongside this, I started the 10 Things newsletter — recognized for its simplicity and curation, with 270+ campaigns featured.
Your Majesty was defined as much by the culture we fostered as the work itself. I’m especially proud of our expertise film, capturing that journey.
Toward the end, I co-developed photo and video direction for Airbnb Plus and Airbnb Luxe, and redesigned The Sartorialist.
In 2018 we joined
Today, I operate independently, partnering with founders and teams to launch or evolve brands and startups. I’m currently contract Head of Brand / Creative Director for Hailey’s and Aurezzi.
Over the past two decades, I’ve received 265+ awards through intrepid team collaboration, including “Cannes Grand Prize,” “TASCHEN: 54 Coolest Websites in History,” “Innovative Site of the Year,” “10 Best Campaigns of the Digital Decade,” “Most Influential Sites of the Year,” and “Creative Review - Image of the Year” for clients such as Nature Valley, HBO, and Nike in the Webbys, One Show, D&AD, Clios, LIA, and New York Festivals.
My work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami, the New Museum, and added to the AICP/MoMA permanent collection, with features in 76+ publications and books.
I’ve also judged and spoken at the Art Directors Club, the FWA, New York Festivals, Print Magazine, and OFFF Barcelona and Milan.
Before Your Majesty, I worked at Big Spaceship, Waytion, Vir2L, and Razorfish.
Earlier on, I founded New Industry Arts (2005), creating a more accessible community for fashion photography.
In 2000, I cofounded May 1 Reboot — a global relaunch of websites celebrating renewal, involving 3,700+ participants (2017). Prior to that, I created threeoh.com (1997), one of the most influential early web design portals.
I originally set out to become an architect, but instead studied Media & Communication with a focus on design, photography, and film.
Before all of this, I played in three bands, on three sports teams, and was the 25 years younger member of the local Tanganyika Cichlids Aquarium Club.
